Spring renewal was at the heart of Széchenyi István University’s event entitled “The Rhythm of Nature”, where international students presented traditions associated with the season in their home countries through music and melodies. The programme offered opportunities both for learning and for fostering connections between different cultures.
Job Fair: Key Economic Players of the Region Welcome Students of SZE
The Job Fair of Széchenyi István University offers networking opportunities for students, graduates, career starters and skilled young professionals with labour market stakeholders. At the event held on 14 April, major employers of the region offered approximately 150 job and internship positions to young people, who also received useful advice on CV writing and successful job interview techniques.
Higher Education and Sport: SZE and ETO FC Győr Jointly Establish an English-medium School
The cooperation between Széchenyi István University and ETO FC Győr spans numerous fields, from sports health research through the application of innovative technologies to educational development. A new element of the partnership may be the joint establishment of an English-medium primary and secondary school, which could serve the education of the children of visiting professors and foreign footballers alike.
Famulus Apartment House: SZE Expands its Services with High-quality Accommodation
Guest professors, staff members and athletes affiliated with partner teams will soon be able to take possession of the Famulus Apartment House, newly developed by Széchenyi István University. The modern, fully furnished residential units offer high-quality accommodation under favourable conditions, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the institution’s international appeal.
SZE Lecturer Contributes to the Preparation of NATO Cybersecurity Exercise
A lecturer from the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Széchenyi István University, Lieutenant Colonel Dr László Vikman, recently took part in the preparation of NATO’s largest cybersecurity exercise, Locked Shields. The expert represented Hungary at the event held in South Korea.
